Unusual rape case in Wales
An interesting case just went through the courts in Wales. If you state the facts the way the article lead-in does, it sounds shocking and sick:
A 20-year-old man who raped a girl aged 10 has been spared jail in what a judge said was a “wholly exceptional” case.
However, having read the whole story, I have to say, I agree with the decision. There are so many real sex offenders out there, it’s encouraging to see that the facts were looked at independent of the bare-bones age issue. If anything I feel sorry for the pathetic guy. What a horrifying ordeal.
The girl could use some serious counseling, and organic foods sans growth hormones.
